This is my first video so... please excuse the poor quality and the fact that I neglected to hold most of the fish up for the camera. On the positive side, I ran across several schools of reds. They were running the grass line crushing small shrimp and occasionally spreading out in a pool. Early on, there were birds working the schools. Later, I found them in a muddy flat crawling on their bellies trapping bait fish. I was able to cast on to the mud and pull in front of them. They were willing to take Down South lures texas roach but preferred my homemade tandem rig of vudu shrimp. This becomes evident during the last catch of the video where I managed to bring in tandem reds! Both went back in the water as I already had my limit. Well after my battery died in the gopro I continued catching. 12 keeper reds and a healthy 19" flounder to complete an intensely fun (and tiring) morning. One for the books!
Oh, and this was also my wife's first time in a kayak. We both took our new Viking kayaks into the marsh for the first time. I was also fishing with and untested rod by Fish Stix... It works.
Tide was super low and outgoing
Wind was maybe 2 mph

Re: chasing reds
Great report and stringer. Well done.
Re: chasing reds
All around nice - the video, two reds on a tandem, epic day of schools, and report. Good post/report.
Re: chasing reds
Nicely done!
