I took this photo today from the 27th floor of Palisade Palms in Galveston.

We were getting ready to leave and I looked down and saw three yellow kayaks, at least two appeared to be tandems just cruising along in an enclosed area not far off the shipping channel on the far east side of the island.

Earlier, there was a solo kayaker out fishing in the same general area.

Whew! I was jealous and wishing I was there.

Photo is a little too distant but cool view from where I was.

I guess it proves yellow can be seen from a long distance

On my one fishing trip, we ended up fishing a different location on the island.

This location looks pretty compelling as regards nice water for kayak since it is fairly well blocked, less concerns over waves and wind.

But, I can't say about whether it holds fish or not.
