Few Bites, Big Fish

Post by txspeck »

I haven't been on the water for weeks and I needed my fish therapy bad! Like Slayer said, the bite was tough. Got on the water at 11:00 and spoke to some guys wading and they said it was slow. Started fishing in deeper water nothing, went to some areas I like to fish and the same story, nothing. Decided to go shallow, and caught 20' Red then about 20 min later 27" Trout then a 30" Whopper Red. Fish were caught on paddle tail 1 1/2 to 2 ft of water. Tried Tops and got a few blowups but nothing stuck. Hopefully, the fishing will pick up soon again.

Winds Calm
Water sandy brown, low visibility

Dishonest media makes you THINK I caught them. Failing TKF is the enemy of the people. So sad.

Which is to say...not my report.
