Corpus / Bob hall pier trip

Post by Cudadude »

Headed down to the beach to camp around 5 miles from Bob hall pier on the 17th thru the 21st. and the reports on the tide is growing starting Friday thru Sunday with a storm coming in. I was thinking of hitting the flats while the tides are high to fish. Any advice on a good spot to get into?

You can keep heading south and fish Bird Island. If you want to go back towards Port Aransas you can hit the flats to the north of Packary Channel or head a little further up and hit Wilsons cut. You can drift those flats off to the north/east at Wilsons cut or head out to Shamrock Cove from there.

If you go to Wilson's cut, croaker hole is a hot spot that produced a few weeks back for me
