Upper Brazos Open Invite

BOPGunner, myself and friends are doing a 3 day/2 night trip, putting in below PK Dam at the hwy. 16 bridge, the morning of May 20. Rochelle's Canoe Rentals will handle the shuttle, provide rentals and be the take out point on Sunday, May 22. Rochelle's tel. #940-659-3341.

Twice this week I have seen the river jump from 200-300 cfs to over 8,000 cfs. Might check that out!!!


Brazos Rv nr Graford, TX 05/14 13:00 CDT Elevation 75.48 CFS 8,300 Long Term Average CFS 108

Update at 10:59 PM flow is now over 9,000 cfs and rain predicted most of week.

The current flow at Graford is 7390 cf/s.

It has been up and down, but still way high. I have checked-the Colorado also. It is not as bad, but still high with rain predicted this week in both areas. Can't seem to catch a break.

Had a great trip. We were a group of 12 kayakers. Conditions were fine. River flow was good. No dragging, mild temperatures. Pictures coming.

Great pictures and wonderful timing. I saw yesterday it was back over 9,000 cfs. I hope things moderate all the rivers soon. I missed a good trip.
