This rain needs to go away!

Sick and tired of my yard being a swamp!!! Here was what I woke up to this morning!!! Broke out the drone to get a better view! The water had dropped about 12" when these pics were taken.

And all that water will end up in our best fishing spots. I may go to Louisiana week after next to find some normal water.

i started fishing freshwater more often and if the weather allowed ..offshore

Last october, i actually floated my john boat off the trailer (right side of the first pic) right where it sat, cranked it up, and putted along to check on the neighbors. Luckily all the houses are built way up above grade and no one got water in their home. If you look at the second pic, the water was to the sidewalk. The mailbox on the bottom left of the third pic only stuck out about 6"!

We dont need any more rain for at least another 90 days!!
