The weather is looking good for Saturday! It's gonna be challenging with the high tides, full moon, and freshwater, but I'm ready!!

One slot red might, probably will net you some cash. Some events, about a quarter or less of the people get a fish. It looks like this one will work out like that with the fresh water, high water conditions. 12 pounds will be top ten for sure. 99.99999% guaranteed :D

I heard a rumor that the Sabine folks will have to weigh in their fish in Dallas :) Just kidding, please don't go to Dallas for the weigh in.

146! nice showing. I donated my money...I mean entered the tournament Tuesday night. I did add in a disclaimer on my "notes to seller" for full refund if I don't pull in any fish. Blew the dust out of the live well and still working fine, got my extra stringers so I am not dragging my fish and of course a few "lucky" top waters and other lures because the cabinet of $600 worth of lucky lures wasn't going to work for this weekend. Kind of like putting on new shoes because they will make me faster. lol

See yall at the weigh in.

I'm a complete noob to kayak fishing and this forum... I bought a used yak in March and have been out twice just trying to 'feel' my way into it. I've never fished a tourney before but one of my buddies turned me onto this series. After reading some of your encouraging posts I'd like to get into it the future. I missed the deadline for this weekend but wondered if new entries be allowed for the future dates (or is it enter once for all four 'series' dates)?

Also, do you have to be entered to attend the weigh in? Even if I can't fish it, I'd like to be able to come out a meet a few folks I could learn a thing or two from...Thnx!

You can still fish the other 3 events. I fished two of the four last year. Welcome to the fold.

From the air, it doesn't look like there is parking for 140+ vehicles at the Harborwalk Marina. Can one of the LSKS admins give us rookies some insight on parking and weigh-in. I gotta know how to get my two 27-7/8" hawgs to the scale!!!

Thanks & See You Tomorrow,

Randy

There are parking spots but also plenty of parking along Harborwalk Blvd.

I thought about heading over in my boat because it's much easier than driving there.
