the ultimate kayak

Post by teen yaker »

I know the purists won't like it, but I thought this was awesome. I'm just wondering how much this beast would cost.

Misnomer, it's a jet propelled plastic john boat, not a kayak under any definition........

One of the definitions states that kayak is just a portable boat styled like the Eskimo kayak.

Oops, I just realized I put this in freshwater. I meant to put it in kayak rigging.

well basically none of the modern kayaks look like Eskimo kayaks. If we went Strictly by the definition that kayak is a Eskimo boat propelled by a 2 bladed paddle, hobie kayaks would be kayaks since they're propelled by the mirage drive.

I like it. It looks like a jet powered Pro Angler to me. Like the joy stick steering.

I also thought the joystick was pretty cool and interesting.

I like it also!

More fishable and a lot more wind friendly than a jet ski.
It probably will catch on if the price isn't outrageous.

Exactly! It seems perfect for long trips offshore. But I'm guessing 4 or 5 grand for the price. Probably even more though.

More like 6-7k. But would be cool to blow by a big PA. I'm seriously researching this thing. I agree with Boomy, it is definitely a boat. But, I likey.

That would make my SSA check feel insufficient. Still a neat idea.
