I can tell you that LW was catching fish throughout the day with those Yo-Zuri lures. And the only reason they stopped biting 'em was that he finally lost it (I think to a shark). I am a believer!

if you want to have some real fun with the Kings and Ling try one of these, Halco Popper. I don't do much offshore but when I do I always throw the popper just to watch the Kings come 10 ft out of the water after it. Ling love this color too and will make a real explosion when the hit it.

I have one of those poppers but blue on top and red on the bottom. I was trying to see if I could get some action in the bait balls but by the time I would get there, the bait ball had disappeared. The other times when the bait balls were forming around me, I was in the mist of tying up line to throw out making it where I couldn't leave loose hooks around. There was a few times I did get a chance to throw my popper out but didn't get any hits. I had seen some videos where the kings would explode on those poppers.
