Pecos River Level Report 5-27-15
I went down to the south boat launch area of the Pecos River a few minutes ago. The river seems to be at least six inches lower than a couple of months ago when I was here last.

Thanks for the update. I would imagine kayaking is still fine from the boat ramp, but what about big boats heading north? I have a buddy that wants to go up to Deadman's Canyon, but a kayak is not in his cards right now because of an injury. So I told him maybe we can get up there in the bass boat. Anyway, just curious. Thanks again.

Sorry Scott, I am not knowledgeable enough to help on that boat issue. A couple of months ago there was about twenty empty boat trailers up at the parking lot and most of them were for larger bass boat type of boat.

Thanks Barney. I figured it might still be ok to drop in, but now it's not looking good for at least another month before I can go. And who knows what it will look like then.
