Looking for info on Mackenzie lake?

Has there been any fish kills on this lake? Are there still any largemouth in Mackenzie? I'm looking into a possible lures tourney here later in the year, and I plan on doing a scouting trip but don't want to waste my gas if this place has gone dry or has had algae kills.
