My wife and I are taking our 3 year old daughter camping in two weeks. Purtis Creek is booked, but we want a nice place to bring her out in our kayaks. I'm looking at Bob Sandlin...anyone been here and have any thoughts (cleanliness, water access, etc..)
Open to other suggestions.

Re: Advice on East Texas Camping
Lake of The Pines has four Corps Parks with good camping, some lakeside sights and playgrounds as well for the little one. Caddo Lake State Park is one of the best in east Texas, however at the present Big Cypress Bayou is running a little high, Daingerfield State Park has a nice lake for kayaking and good camping sights and Martin Creek State Park out of Tatum is another.
Good luck and get out and enjoy.
