Great day Sun on the Guad. New PB LM from a kayak; every bit of 5lbs. Had a couple others around 3lbs too. By far the best day I've had for size in the 2 years fishing the Guad.
Big one had someone else's hook stuck in his jaw - guess he's glad I caught him after all.
I've managed to enjoy the yak & rivers & not miss all the dallas area lakes & bass boat.
Trying to work through all the extra tubs of tackle I have in the garage, but did break down and buy a new secret weapon lure last week & that's what I caught the bigger ones on.
Fun when you have a plan & it works out.
Didn't sight fish, but 1 had finished up spawning & tail was healing.
Also took a co-worker out who's never fresh water fished & he was able to land his first LM.
