G Day fellas
Been a while since Ive been on post, a couple of years I think
Anyway figured I may as well show my ugly mug again and be a sociable bastard.
Im based east coast Australia in the state of NSW and fish ocean or BTB as you fellas call it.
I did have a Cobra FnD but sold it and moved onto a Hobie Outback
I fish the lakes, estuaries and beaches.
I am a keen kayak fisherman, spear fisherman , rifle and bow hunter
Have a family and like some , I did time in the Australian Defence Force.
I hope to travel and would love to visit Texas, any place that is big on steak houses, hunting , guns and fishing is alright in books. I think Texas and Australia has a lot in common.
I am involved with a kayak fishing club here at home, look forward to getting involved with the TKFC community and maybe make a few mates along the way
Cheers and beers fellas

Re: G. Day from Aussie
One of my friends went to Australia years back, and he was never considered or called a "Yank". He was a Texan, and they know and acknowledge the difference.
People in the State of Zulia, in Western Venezuela, where Lake Maricaibo is, call themselves the "Texans of Venezuela", because they have big cattle ranches and serious big oilfields, and a "cowboy" attitude. Interesting, huh?

What's actually funny is here in Australia on the border of NSW & Qld ( 2 eastern states ) is an actual town called " TEXAS".TexasJim wrote:One of my friends went to Australia years back, and he was never considered or called a "Yank". He was a Texan, and they know and acknowledge the difference.
