I've fished several times on the White River w/a guide, but have always wanted to fish it alone... I am purchasing a PA 14 in a couple of weeks, and taking it to the White is on the bucket list.

How was your trip? Did you find that the PA was a worthy craft, that easily handled the current and the shallows?

Thanks,
KJ

Here's my new Lure 11.5! The Gravity Seat is all the way down in these pics, but pops up to almost 10" off the deck...awesome. Standing is a breeze in this boat...in my opinion even more stable than a Diablo. I'm finally able to cast my larger fly rods or crank deep diving crank baits with no stability issues. Added the toe control rudder and an AquaBound Manta Ray carbon fiber paddle. Right now, I'm working on a DIY rocket launcher, and plan to add a DSI fish finder...

Here's my Cuda 12. I've had it since the fall and after putting many hours on it I can conclude that it is the perfect kayak for my style of fishing.

My buddy just picked up the same boat, looks nice. May I ask what body of water is that?

That's the Guadalupe River, at Rio Raft's ramp. I went down there to try and bag a trout. Didn't work.

Pelican Apex 100. Initially got it to go duck hunting in, hence the camo. Had to add the hatch, rod holders, and anchor trolley. $20 Igloo cooler with $20 rocket launcher.

Bought it used, came with a 190 cm paddle and I've been using that for over a year :? It finally broke and I got a 240 cm paddle. Hopefully that will be much nicer.

I like that mount you have for your FF. Where can I find something like that?

Picked up a brand new 2015 Hobie Outback about a week ago and I can't wait to rig it up and take it out. So far i've changed out the rudder blade to the larger one and switched out the side pockets to the rubber ones. I also purchased a Lowrance Elite 5 fish finder at BPS and I'm in the process of installing it to my liking.

I've owned the 2012 Hobie Adventure Island for 3 years but wanted something lighter and wanted the newer seat that Hobie came out with. So I sold my AI and bought the Outback and I can't wait to get her wet. :D
