Ocean Kayak Trident 13 with Elite 4x HDI fish finder (see my install post), rudder, RAM transducer arm, and custom axle. I also use the kayak loader for my car. (see my build list post).

Custom axel dis-assembles and stores in front on kayak. Use a lock nut on one end of tie rod and regular nut on other end. No weld one side of "H" shaped axel (see Pic). This allows the two PVC part sections to be separated and stored.

I friction-fit shop-vac tubes to hold the PVC axle

Scotty Rocket Launchers and Crack of Dawn Seat (I recommend replacing the seat clips to all brass. the plastic ones will break easily)

In the front of the kayak, a Ram mount transducer arm for the fish finder.

I dig it! ha I'm just a simple person when it comes to things like this. Tight lines to you. The View is located where in Tejas.. trying to place a fellow yaker mentioning of a nice lake around those parts.

That was so much smarter mounting your fish finder on the lid. I mounted my Elite 4 DSI in the fish finder spot further forward and couldn't see it from the seat (I'm old).

I just realized that I never posted a pic of my new Viking Profish Reload. I'm using a Werner Cyprus bent shaft paddle and have a bunch of Yakgear goodies on it that aren't in the pic. The stability is amazing, and the thing is stupid fast for a paddle kayak!

I just realized that I haven't posted a pic of my newest baby. It's a Viking Profish Reload with the rudder, ACK Gone Fishin seat, tons of Yakgear stuff (not in the picture) a C-tug cart and a Werner Cyprus bent shaft paddle. This thing is fast and stable. It has been good and slimed already, and I plan on doing it again this weekend.

I love that easy to reach into oval forward hatch on the Viking with the deflector shield for crashing through surf is a brilliant design along with the reload pod.
I hope that hatch design catches on with other manufacturers as the forward hatch is pretty much impossible to reach into while on the water, with most kayaks on the market today.

Picked up a new 2014 Desert Camo Tarpon 160 from ACK this afternoon. Got a heck of a deal on it as well with the old model clearance pricing and our TKF discount on top of that. I used that savings to have them throw a rudder on it as well.

Thanks. Some of the other kayak manufacturers have different names for similar colors. Wilderness calls this color Desert Camo as per their website and the build sheet that comes with the yak.

I bought my first kayak this week after selling a canoe I bought a few months ago. Can't wait to trim down all the crap I was bringing and focus on doing some fishing!!
