Cabo Trip

Headed to San Jose del Cabo from July 15-23, mainly planning on surfing and paddleboarding but hoping to get some kayak fishing in as well. I'm on a budget so just hoping to find a decent rental for a day or two rather than a guided trip. Last time I was there the Costa Azul condo I rented came with a kayak. I took a my Penn Saltwater reel, some leaders and extra hooks and weights and bought a $30 pole and some squid at the Mega, paddled out about a mile, dropped my homemade cinderblock anchor on 200' of line a tore up the trigger fish! Sadly that deal is no longer available. Any advice or info would be great!
