Friend got a great looking Jackson Cuda 12 in Earth & I was hooked once he let me borrow it for a trip.

Got my Cuda last week & had it out twice already. First trip was almost a skunk, but avoided the goose egg w/ 1 largemouth on the San Marcos.
Better fishing yesterday with some guadalupe & largemouth on the Guadalupe. First fish of the morning was a guadalupe bass blowing up on a popper - nice way to start the day!

Went with the Cuda since all the rigging & creature comforts for fishing seemed suited for how I like to fish.

When we had our twins I sold my bass boat & it's great getting back into fishing. Notice the kids cozy coupe's have priority parking over the yak in the garage!

Not new to yaking, spent a lot of time on whitewater in the 80's in a Dancer.
not new to fishing, just hard to believe it took so long to put the two together!
09 KIA rio5 with a custom mount in the receiver hitch. homemade rack bar on the front.
yak is loaded a little further back than normal, loaded it in the dark before my coffee
Rigged for small lake fishing at Marine Creek Lake by the house.
The last pic... beats even the best view at work!

Nice yak and pics! Wondered how you made the rack bar on the front of your car. I might want to try that.

2011 Native Watercraft Manta Ray 12. I mostly fish the rivers and lakes in Central Texas but this was shot on my first kayak trip to Corpus.

We like to play up here in Vermont as well even though we can't boast too many big water opportunities.
