Anybody been out at the dike lately thinking about going this afternoon

I went out there about a week ago. It was nice morning, calm winds, some cloud cover, and the water was smooth. I got into some sand trout early on and then it really slowed down, with nothing at all. I then hooked on a flounder near the end. By 10AM, a big storm rolled through and I had to get off the water. I used artificials and had the best luck with DOA's, darker in color. Probably would have done better if I stopped by Boyd's and got some shrimp on a popping cork. The tide forecast sucked for that day so I was happy with what I got.

For what it is worth, not many people around me were catching much of anything.

Caught my PB trout about a month ago here. Good spot when there is west in the wind
