Brazos expedition
Got a ideal kicking around in my head that I need a little help with and want to see if there is enough interest to try to put this together.
I have done several sections of the Brazos but I want to do the whole thing. Everyone I talk to says they would love to do it also.
Here is my ideal ,start at PK do a 2 or 3 day trip ,wherever you stop the next month do a trip from there down for 2 or 3 days ,a trip a month till we cover the whole thing.
Anyone interested and have any suggestions.

Who do you think you are, John Graves?
If I had more time and more money and a damn truck that would be awesome.
If I remember right he went all the way to Granbury, around 260 miles. A few more dams now though.
I could probably do one leg or two.

I like it. I've got 119 miles covered so far. Plus a little overlap couldn't hurt.
12 trips a year would be alot though. I don't think my poor kayak has seen the river since last summer.

Couldnt do the whole thing but would intersted in doing parts of it. Especially from PK on down. Also have place to camp on private property just north of where the Childress creek comes in the river. Its just north of Gholson if that helps out the logistics of this trip for yall on that certain section. Sounds like a awesome idea!

I wouldn't be able to make the whole thing, more than likely, but I'd love to make a few legs of that. I'm on the river near San Felipe, can certainly provide a campsite and "reprovisioning stop" if needed..

Re: Brazos expedition
I am in, as long as the weather is under 95.
I have logged about 50-55 miles of that stretch, and I want to see it all.

I live in San Antonio and I am currently putting a kayak trailer together so I could pick DNR up on the way through. I work 4-10's so I am off Fridays and have plenty of vacation time to burn. I have not done a float trip in years and would really like to see the north end of the Brazos.
