Blue moon fishing

Post by saltykat »

Got to fish with my buddy chicken we used to fish alot but his work schedule keeps him off the water most of the time, now we only fish together once in a blue moon. We made a last minute decision to fish and got out just before daylight found some scattered fish had to cover lots of water to catch one here and there. We each caught a limit of trout in 6 hours, most on corkys and he caught a couple fish on a mirrodine. Water was mid 50's when we launched warmed to 60 with 1-2' visibility wind was east at 10-20. I caught 3 between 21-23" all the rest were 16-19" we had a good time and all fish were released.

Yup, he was dependable and dedicated. Glad to hear he still gets on the water every now and then. A solid fishing buddy to say the least.

Sounds like a fun time
