Thanks for the prayers and well wishes.
I am ding very well after a couple of trips to the hospital one was 4 days in ICU the last just 6 hours of getting tanked with some blood.

I am feeling stronger and gaining weight. I do plan on being at the Kayak Shack next weekend for the Kayaking Fishing clinic. See you there.

I haven't stopped by this message board for several months since I moved away from Texas. I'm sorry to hear of your illness, Al. I wish you the best, and you'll be in my prayers. Your willingness to share your love of fly fishing and to answer the questions of perfect strangers will always stick in my mind.

I saw Al at the Reel Recovery retreat on the Brazos River near Whitney a couple weeks ago....He is doing well. In spite of having been hammered by this evil disease he is in good spirits and was his normal class act, giving casting instruction and visiting with his many friends there as volunteer fishing buddies. Prayers Work!!!!! Keep 'em coming.

Unfortunately, Al is having a rough time right now. The Forth Worth Fly Fishers hosted an Al Crise day at Dinosaur state park in Glen Rose last Saturday. Al was there to visit with everyone and over 100 people showed up.
