Well my last post I talked about how I was making the transition to lures instead of live shrimp and to this day I've been too lazy and just plain lucky . Mike K. and I limited out and threw back Redfish and thanked God for this blessing. Well like they say ...if it ain't broke don't fix it and brother for now I'm not changing a thing...or at lest until I get skunked several times.
Feeding the addiction.

BUT... could you have gotten that nice catch of reds without all the hassle of waking up earlier to hit the bait stand up, packing the bubbler and spare batteries, buying shrimp, keeping them alive, rebaiting, and removing trash fish?
Maybe your increased mobility while using artis would have found you good fish on other non-productive trips?
Just have to find out!

You have to go with what works the best for you and if its live shrimp so be it. Nice catch. Where were you fishing at?

I made the switch a long time ago. But somedays when fishing is hard makes me feel like picking up some shrimp or croaker. Nice catch and thanks for the report.

Try using a Gulp shrimp on your next trip. I bet you will see the same results, as it looks like you found an area that holds some nice fish.
