Pic of my fishing hole.
While goofing around this morning and looking at a few of my favorite fishing holes in "Birds Eye" view. I grabbed a screen shot of this coastie plane buzzing one of my honey holes. Thought it was cool enough to share....

No, the navy trainers are single engine jets owned by the airforce. The plane in the pic has the same colors but not quite the style....Javelina Russ wrote:Ain't that a Navy trainer???

Re: Pic of my fishing hole.
It's a Navy T44 I do major structural work on them mostly replace the wing spars. Basic flight training is done in the T34 single engine trainer soon to be replaced by the T-6. If a pilot is going into jets he goes to T45s in Kingsville or Meridian Ms. If they are going to multi engine prop aircraft they stay here and fly the T-44 like the one in the picture.

I often see very similar planes doing touch and go's, usually 2 or 3 at a time out of the Cabaniss Airport on my way home from work. Are these the T44's? It seems as though they wait until the wind picks up to 30+.
Thanks,
RATHERb
