Fixing plastics with bent tails?

Post by sherwood »

I have some plastics that have been (jammed ) in the lure box too long, which resulted in bent tails. Any way to fix these?

I"ve heard running them under hot water can work, I've never done it but it makes sense.

Well, if it took time to bend the tails, it might just take time to straighten them out again.

test them they usually work exactly the same if not they may have a better action. Oh yea if they've been in your box that long they didn't work well anyway.

Thanks for the replies, I'll try the boiling trick.

And nah, I just haven't been fishing in many many months, probably around summer. Looking to start again, but the weather this week hasn't been too good. I may go down to Seabrook anyway..
