MISSING/FOUND ALIVE!!!

I receivesd a telephone call last night stating that Pastor Root of the Baptist Church in Gilchrist is missing. He is a very precious man and a new friend that I've come to love.

Anybody got any info?

my wife and I knew him as LC. He lived right across the street from us. We spoke with him on THursday before Ike as we were battening down the hatches. LC told us he was sending Sandy to Winnie and he was going to stay and help folks like he always did. Sunday I got in touch with Bruce who took care of our yards on our street. Rumor we got was that a wave took LC off his roof and he didn't come back up.

Everything on our street was totally removed by Ike. We are torn up that our dear neighbor is no where to be found. Please if you find out that LC is ok e-mail me at tobyselcer@yahoo.com. He is a wonderful man that really cared about the people in Gilchrist. Honestly, please let us know if you confirm what we were told or hopefully, his smiling face popped up and is with Sandy.

I'm so sorry about that.

Heavenly Father,

Please let this man, your servant, be found in good condition. It would take a miracle to find him, but you are able.

Be with his family, friends and loved ones who are waiting to hear news about him. Wrap them in your loving arms and be their strength. Be near them and comfort them with your presence.
