Hey guys, I've been fishing the last 3 days off highland bayou back in the marsh. There's been an increasing amount of bait activity each day. I've fished with clousers mostly and they are tied on a #8 and are about 2 inches long. Is this too small? too big? I've also fished hard plastic and soft plastic...dead slows and bouncing etc. No luck. The reason I mention the plastics is they are a good bit bigger than the clousers and it got me thinking about what I've read about winter fish wanting bigger meals. So, I thought maybe a bigger clouser would help. I can't actually throw a much bigger one with my 6 wt but at least I'd know what was going on.
Any help appreciated as always...
