My Stars and Stripes report
Started the morning with an hour ferry wait at bolivar, finally made the trip across and met up with Johnny Quest while on the ferry. Charlie (Flatfishcharlie) and I launched at the intercoastal and fished some canals, water was pretty clean (dirty everywhere else), started slamming the reds (all undersized) must of caught at least 18 rat reds, anyway we were on the trout or at least Charlie was, he caught two limits(and 1 flounder) on tops and Brown Lures in the pumpkin seed pattern. I end up with 2 specks and 1 flounder. A lot of undersized fish today for us. Lots of big reds brought in today at the weigh in. All my fish were caught on gulps swimming mullet with a srtaight slow retrieve. Fish were in about 8 ft of water with the flounder caught on the ledges.
