So I bought my girlfriend a Viking Profish GT. Got her all rigged up and ready to go. Then I had surgery that put me out for the next few months. But I can still teach right?
I have her set up her own anchor trolley. Tie her own knots. And of course tell her absolutely everything I know about kayak fishing with artificial. Lol. Poor girl.
A week ago, as we're browsing the lure isle at academy, she spots a dsl in 'Victorious secret' color. She tells me, 'I'm gonna use this and catch a flounder'. I say that's not how it works babe. We have to see the water and conditions before you decide what to throw.
Skip ahead to yesterday. She launches at the marsh and disappears. An hour later, she paddles up to me and says 'guess what? I changed my lure... to Victorious secret... and caught a flounder! It's 20 inches."

End of story ladies and fellas.
I'll never be able to tell her anything.
