Nighttime slam
Needed some quiet time on the water and conditions were perfect after the passing storms last night. Launched around 10 p.m. Low winds and temps in the low 70's made for a relaxing trip. Figured out pretty quick that the fish wanted a super slow retrieve. Slam shady worked a couple times but dsl burner shad in blue moon was the ticket. Slow going for the first few hours. Speck here, red there. But on the way back, they were hungry. Hooked 3 slots in 3 consecutive casts. Hit one last light and got another slot and a flounder for the slam! Left em biting. Trout were 16 &17" ...nothing special. Flounder was 18" and the reds went 20.5 - 22". My buddy caught a limit of reds all on a S&P paddletail. Hope y'all are all staying safe and well! Tight lines!

It is great just to get out on the water on a nice night - but really nice when you can also find them biting. I like that burner shad!
Congrats on the action and thanks for the report.

Nope, I'm thinking it's the Buc-ee's on 45 south at exit 17. He parked on the south side making the Buc-ee's look smaller.
