Trout at Rockport 4-10

Post by katzig »

Launched at daylight, wind was about 11 mph out of the S/E. Fished shore line and a few reefs, Oyster boats were every where churning up the reefs, they sure ruin a good fishing reef. Wind started picking up to about 30 mph, water was very rough, still managed to get a limit, but had to really work for it. Someone replied to my last post as to what I use and where I fish, so today I was using soft plastic, caught one here and one there, never found a school, just loners, by the time I headed in the water was very dirty and rough, still better than not getting out.

Thank you for your report, Katzig. That one trout on the left looks like a football.

My last trip found skinny trout - hoping to do better this weekend.
