Today started a little late around 0900. I got off ferry heading to AP and pulled off on the left before the first bridge. Launched and went under the bridge towards lighthouse Lakes wind was howling.
Fished a drainage comes out of LHL nothing worked my way back into the back lakes. Was throwing a lot of things but no takers got rained on for about 15 minutes.
Went back under the bridge on far side worked back into the Mangroves and still no fish....finally went too oyster reef with a channel running parallel to it and picked up a Trout on Pink TSL (My first Trout on TSL had only caught Redfish before) and Rat Red on a mirrordine. Paddled in after that. Rough day with the wind and minimal fish
Will fish tomorrow morning before heading back to San Antonio, I’ll let the wind decide where I fish.
