Fished Cold Pass, Titlum Tatlum, Christmas Bay, West side SLP beach surf, Mud Island, Bird Island. Speck fishing was great quantity wise, size wise not epic. Not that I didnt catch some keepers but I have never caught so many trout that were all the same size, 14". I dont usually keep trout but could only hook up on 3 rat reds in Titlum Tatlum so ended up keeping a half dozen trout in the 18" range last few days of my trip. Just could not find any reds or flounder. By far the best lure was a 3" clear lil John. Didnt matter how you retrieved it, it was working. Went through 2 bags of them. Night time under the lights was non stop action but lots of Sandies too... same lil Jon. Biggest fish were caught wading the surf just west of SLP same clear lil Jon.
