What did you use to catch the Sheepy? I thought they would only hit live shrimp.

I once caught a pretty good sheepshead on a big skitterwalk. The fish absolutely slammed the lure.

I try for them using flies, but have had limited success.

heh sounds like both were atypical catches.

I wonder if there are artificial lures that work well for them.
