Herds of Hogs
I launched at around one thirty in the afternoon from stingaree and headed out towards Yates cove to see if anything was going on. After looking around for about ten minutes and not seeing anything interesting I started towards Big Pasture. After looking around there for a bit I decided that there wasn't quite enough action in the area so I headed down the shoreline and that's when I found a group of hogs chasing shrimp down the shoreline. After catching my limit I found a group of birds working over some small trout. Once I had my fill of dinks I decided to make a wade on the closest shoreline an see if anything else wanted to bite. By the end of the day I had caught half a limit of trout all on top water and a limit of reds on a hack berry hustler in chicken on a chain attached to a 1/8th ounce egret jig head.
