lake leon

thinking about hitting up lake leon in the morning. i know a guy that fishes tournaments there and seems to like it, but hes also in a bass boat and not a kayak. any pointers on where to get started? ive been looking around the dam and i like how it looks on the navionics charts, but i wont know what to do if the wind picks up. looking for help! any advice is appreciated!

Wyattc where are you located? Sorry this is a little late I just saw this. I normally launch around 2214/570 bridge area believe its called Chaulk a block ramp is where I go and fish on either side of the bridge and trees/stumps. When that is not working you can paddle and fish near docks or by the shores on the other side of the lake (though its a good paddle depending on). Plenty of bass and crappie out there though. Hope you had some luck.
