East Beach

Had a great day with Brian fishing out by East Beach and landed a bunch of speckled trout. Spanish mackerel were hooked as well and one red broke off; several tiny sharks. Threw some keepers back and left them biting. 52MR and gold spoon was the ticket for smack and speck. Dead bait got sharks. Forgot to throw the buck tail tipped with fat back sorry. Going back Friday if y'all wanna go. Half the fish in the pics are Brians.

Do you launch off of the beachfront when you go to East Beach or do you go to Boddecker? What were the conditions like? Interested in picking up trout out of the surf one day but I've never done it.

Launched of the beach near the base of the jetty. Conditions have to be less than ten knots or so winds with flat to 1/2 foot surf
