Location: 3’ - 6’ over shell reefs in Galveston Bay Complex
Topwater bite was much slower than previous couple outings in the early morning. Ended up with only 4 trout by about 8:00 AM.
The quality fish turned on during the minor period like the past couple days. They were spread out over a couple hundred yards but it was well worth the grind. Highlight of the morning was landing a PB trout from kayak measuring 29" with a pinched tail.
Total tally for the morning was 20 trout between 16" and 29".
