28" Kayak Trout

Here is a video of the 28" trout I caught a few weekends ago on a red/white Controlled Descent Paddle Shad with a large rattle inside. She is not my largest trout, but she is the largest I have caught out of my kayak. She was in about 20" of water and I landed here at 1:00 pm. She was in an area with a few different types of grass.

Ya gotta love the big ones hooked from a yak. I caught a 26" in February on the edge of a canal the had an endless supply of energy. After passing under my yak a few different times and spinning me a complete 360 degrees I landed it. What a beautiful fish. The word that comes to mind for an experience like this is "rodeo". Nice job!
