Clam lake

Post by hoghunter14 »

Went and checked out Clam lake for the first time yesterday, I was very surprised at the amount of grass in there. I knew that there would be some but I couldn't fish any closer than about 150 yards from the bank. I did see some reds holding in the pockets on the leeward shoreline, That was about the time that ol gator decided to show up so I called it a day. That's what I'd thought you'd say

Is there a better launch, never been there before but liked the area?

Not really.

There is a primitive launch on the west side.

oh ok, I didn't know that was a public area, google makes it look like a gate when you leave the pavement.

I've never paid attention to see if there was a gate. That is the ramp we use during duck season.
