Pre-front on 4/22 @ Texas City

I recently purchased my PA 14 and have really enjoyed this boat! I ran down to Texas City from Conroe in anticipation of good bite prior to the front hitting. The front, a minor feed time and an incoming tide all coinciding was too hard to resist. I staked out in an area where slicks had been popping and fish were caught earlier. As soon as the wind switched to the north, slicks appeared and I started getting bites on plastics and Corky's. The 2nd fish was a big girl! 7.5 lbs and almost 28". I did CPR and released her. I also caught a 4 and a couple of 2's before the wind got too tough.

Purdy! I went to check the TCD out Sunday morning, way to windy when the birds have trouble moving into the wind. Ended up by Pierce marsh, no bites.

Well done! Thanks for the great report! This helps others catch fish! I will not read a "report" that does not give at least a city or location they are fishing at. It could be Florida waters for all I know! LOL
