Tried the lakes at first, water too shallow to navigate. Moved out to Aransas shrimp boat channel with some wind. 1st catch on a DOA jerk shade, chicken on chain paddle tail, 4 inch. Bite was on except trout was 14" & under. Dolphins were having a field day.

Glad you got out and caught a few. Lots of dinks around lately. The big boys are deeper or on the flats more for some reason.

Great report, 12-lb! Liked the pics & detail, too. Keep it up, men! I'm following you now. Shoffer, maybe there's hope for this new young generation of plastic paddlers/peddlers!kickingback wrote:Glad you got out and caught a few. Lots of dinks around lately.
