RED DAWN

Post by hoghunter14 »

I started the morning targeting shorelines adjacent to drains that ha a mud bottom with scattered shell along the shore. After paddling a short distance I seen some action in a small pocket just adjacent to a small drain coming from a back lake. The water erupted with life when I got close and caught my first dink red. After landing that first fish I could not move two feet without spooking red fish that were chasing small shrimp. I ended the day with a limit and a few pics.

Weather
73-78°
south switching to southeast wind 6-14 MHP
Broken to scattered cloud cover

Water
72-74°
Outgoing tide
trout green water
high salinity
1-3 ft depth
