Reimer Ranch

We went out on Thursday and for the most part the bite was pretty slow. We weren't getting anything on artificials so we seined some bait. We headed up stream all the way to the rapids and finally found the whites up there. We caught 8 in about 30 minutes and then had to head back in to beat a thunderstorm. They were feeding readily on suckermouth minnows and bluegill fingerlings. All of the fish we caught were males so I'm thinking we're just at the very beginning of the run. The cool evenings and mornings have probably delayed things a bit but I think if we can get a few more warm days its gonna be on! Anybody else fishing Reimer?
