Galveston

Post by capsized »

Fished from 12:30 to 1:30 in the channel. Tide was moving a little. NE winds were lying down. Caught about 15 fish most small males. I kept 2. A 20" and a 19" they fell for the gulps. Didn't matter what color.
Run is on..

where did you launch to get to the channel? Do cruise ships etc make that area busy for yakkers?

Pelican island is closest. Yes. Big ships pass by. Keep head on swivel at all times.

The flats near the concrete ship used to be flounder fishing heaven in the 60's, 70's.
