Fished AP Sunday with a friend and there was very little wind or current. Beautiful day and the bite was OK. Topwater was good all day due to the light wind and the cloud cover most of the morning. Caught several trout and rat reds on top with spook Jr's. We caught two good reds on cut bait and the trout were caught on live shrimp and the bigger trout on gulp shrimp. We got into the sand trout briefly which added to the fun. Great to be back on the water and looking forward to more fall fishing.
