Quicky trip, West Galveston b/causeway

I had planned fishing with Live bait on bottom and with cork. Had to stop at Wally World for 30$ bait bucket (forgot mine at the house) just to find out that fat boys was out of live shrimp -.-. Oh well! Rigged up a downsouth lure (black/gold with chartreuse tail) after all the bad luck in the morning I finally launched around noon and took off straight to the causeway



Fished this area for about an hr and landed 6 trout ranging from 12-14 in in 2ft of water with mud/she'll bottom





Around 1:15 I got a call from work that I had to be in at 4 the next morning so I headed back to the boat ramp. But before leaving I peddled over to the rail road tracks that are directly to right of fatboys boat ramp



worked that area for around 20min and managed to pull up this 14 in flounder also in 2ft mud bottom
And called it a day.
