Jones Bay
Saw that wind was coming pretty good out of east while heading to Virginia point, so detoured over to Jones. When my place is blown out Jones is still very fish able. Drifted shore line heading towards Bayou Vista. Caught one lower slot red on a cahoe minnow. root beer glitter. I have had my outback for over a year now and days like this is when i appreciate what a fishing machine this thing is. definitely a pig on land, and does have hull slap, but kicks ass in open water. Peddled back into very stiff east wind no problem. no boat does everything but this boat comes pretty darn close. did not post picture average 20 in. red fish cpr. super high tide!!
