Aransas Pass 2/13/2016

My 14 year old daughter, who always declines my offers to go fishing....
Asked me last night to take her fishing

Fished Eastshore/BR Flats.
Live shrimp under popping cork.

Her first cast... The biggest hardhead I've ever seen!

She was very excited.

We then had nonstop action on dink trout for the next 2 1/2 hours.

Total catch: 16, all released.

Also have plenty of dolphin hijinks which made her day.

She asked to go again tomorrow, so we'll be at it again in the morning.

That's awesome, glad she had a good time making memories with her dad. Three days ago I also had a similar comment from my 15 year old daughter, youngest of three, whom almost never goes out with me. I nearly fell over when she said she wanted to go on my next gulf trip. I'll be posting the next time my daughters and I head to Aransas Pass. Enjoy every second of it, they grow up way too fast.
