My first on a couple..

I headed out to Aransas Pass to fish LHL this past Friday. Launched around 730 am. Winds were about 8-10mph & picked up to 10-15mph later that morning. Didn't pick up my first fish till about 10am.

First trout on a top.. Too bad it was a dink.. Few other blow ups but no hook ups. Finally picked up a keeper on a Gulp New Penny shrimp under a cork.
The next morning I launched from Wilson's Point. Winds were about 6-8mph & picked up to 10-12mph later. Started with top water & picked up my first Red on a top, but not a keeper.

As the wind picked up I found shelter behind a mangrove island. I blind casting & throwing a Hunchback. Boom! Hooked on to a 22.5" Red. My first on a Hunchback The fish gods were good to me!!
